🌿 How it started
Yama Matcha began because matcha made us pause (like really pause). In between work, noise, and the rush, that small act of whisking matcha became a way for us to slow down and breathe. What started as a personal ritual soon became a pursuit to share the same stillness and quality we found in Japan.
We set out to make real matcha more accessible without losing the care and honesty behind it. Every batch we share is a reflection of that beginning — slow, intentional, and grounded in balance. -
🌱 Where we source our Matcha
Our matcha is sourced from various farms across Japan, where tea has been grown and cared for by generations of dedicated farmers.
Each leaf is shade-grown, handpicked, and stone-milled to bring out the smooth flavour and bright and deep green colours that define matcha. -
♡ Our Goal
We’ve always wanted matcha to be something you can rely on and not something you have to chase or stock up on every time. Our goal has always been simple: to keep it accessible, so you can just enjoy it for what it is.
